Ocean Butterfly [ 2006 ]
Plot Outline: Strange things begin occurring to an ordinary girl on the day she turns twenty five. Suddenly, without warning, she finds she is able to hear what sea creatures have to say…to her! Ocean fish and sea turtles, floundering in the market when you shop everyday, start talking to her as though she were a long lost friend, from another world. And as if that isn’t crazy enough, her body starts to change, stretching and twisting, getting smoother, slipperier, scalier! These totally weird phenomena send her to the seashore, on a quest to learn the truth. Love and confusion enter her life at the worst possible time, just when she’s starting to get seriously involved with a boy she’s only recently met, the changes already taking place in her are starting to show. And to top that, sea turtle with whom she’s been communicating turns out to be her best friend and traveling companion.
Will the boy be able to help rescue her from all this confusion? Can he help her find her roots, or tendrils? But if he can’t, will find a way to love her for what she is and what’s inside her heart? Or will he hate her for the way she appears to the outside world?
