Biography :
Adirek Wataleela, a Thai Wichit Silp Vocational School alumnus, started his work as a handbill designer. In 1985, he co-directed and co-wrote the screenplay for his first film, Saum Noi Noi Galon Mark Noi, with Thanit Jitnukul (known as Pued). After that he produced several films, receiving acclaim in both critical and box office terms, such as Pluem, Dee Taek, Chalui, and Chaluihin-Khon Kai Sud Kob Loke. In 1995, he worked as a film manager at RS Film & Distribution Co., Ltd and produced various films such as Romantic Blue, 18-80 Buddy and Cloning. In 2000, he co-founded of Film Bangkok and Chalerm Thai Studio and produced such films of quality as Tears of the Black Tiger, Bang Rajan, Angulimala, and The Siam Renaissance. |
